Kettle & Thread opened in 2015 on Church Avenue in Brooklyn: a warm space for people to meet and enjoy music, crafting, and homey food. The logo incorporates many elements important to the owner: her German heritage and love of German folk art; the 3 hearts and 2 birds represent her family of 5 and the fluted shape is reminiscent of the pies she bakes daily for the shop, which also hosts sewing classes and live music. I worked with Beth to create inviting postcards and a homey menu.
